Can someone shed a little light about Hill House? If you are assigned a double, is it an apartment with two bedrooms? Or a room with two people? Sorry to sound so dumb to all of this.

Don’t worry about it! They never provided me with much info about housing before I was a student

Although I’m not entirely sure about this, a “double” in Hill for a freshman almost always means that the person shares a room with one other person in a 6-student total apartment (which consists of a single, a double, and a triple). The apartment has its own bathroom and kitchen which all six people share (there may be multiple bathrooms, actually, I don’t remember).

Probably a little late in answering but it can be either. Some Hill House apartments have two bedrooms with one a single and the other a double. Regardless the plus points. like your own kitchen, generally outweigh the minus. My daughter was in Hill House for three years, by choice.
