Approximately how much does it cost to live at jester each semester with the meal plan? Will 7k be enough?

7k is a bit low.

Thanks for that link, I have 7k available each semester for housing. The link says it’s around 4300 each semester. I guess I’ll have some extra dough coming back in the way of refund. Does anyone know how the fin aid refund process works at UT? At my current uni they give us a card and transfer the funds through there.

Wow. Not sure how the refund process works but, lucky you!

You can see a pretty good price listing/comparison here: [The University of Texas at Austin (UT) - Freshman Support - ■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■.com](http://www.■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■.com/ut/#housing/options/compare/)

If you click on the individual dorms’ names on the left, it will break down the price range into your different options. If cost is a big concern, you might want to check out the private dorms since they can be a bit cheaper.

I am not sure about this particular kind of refund but when UT students discussed refunds they usually said that UT refunded money to their bank account. There is a credit union called UFSU on UT campus with ATM everywhere and 3 major banks’ locations nearby - Chase, Bank of America and Compass. You are supposed to link you bank account information with UT finaid to do this.
