Housing fee denied

<p>I made my payment before the June 30th deadline by E-Check.. Then I got an e-mail yesterday saying it was rejected, ***! I called the housing department and she said just to redo the payment and as long as the box is checked off again then I'll be fine.</p>

<p>I did so, but then when I try to edit my "personal history form" (your room preferences) it says:</p>

<p>"The housing contract and prepayment deadline was June 30, 2010. If you are still interested in housing, please email Cathy at <a href="mailto:cincandela@ucsd.edu">cincandela@ucsd.edu</a> with your full name and PID number. She will reply with freshman space waitlist instructions."</p>

<p>I e-mailed the address asking this question just in case.</p>

<p>Will I still be guaranteed housing? Are my chances of getting a single room diminished? (I signed my housing contract the first day available, Revelle college btw).</p>

<p>I think you should call them - this is too specific of a question to be answered on CC. You just need to figure out a way to get your preferences in ASAP so you’re not put on the waiting list and you retain your original spot in line.</p>

<p>ETA: wait a minute. In order to make the initial housing payment, didn’t you already have to select that you wanted a single room?</p>
