<p>Hey everyone, I've just been accepted as at transfer student for this fall and according to my letter I could contact Fordham Housing for further information regarding housing. The Fordham website states that housing is by far not guarenteed for transfers and Fordham housing could not give me a definite answer.</p>
<p>So I was wondering if anyone here knew if transfers had a chance for getting housing this fall? And also-are transfers housed at all together?</p>

<p>The D of a family friend transferred into Fordham last year and got housing in one of their off campus dorms. While that was less than perfect, she and her roommate (also a transfer) were able to move to an on campus dorm after one semester so it worked out in the end. And just so you know, dorm space usually opens up in the second semester as students go abroad-- so f you can commute for a semester that may be an option as well (not ideal I know). Not sure what will happen this year though. Good luck.</p>
