<p>So I'm a prospective transfer student looking at schools in Boston and schools that are known for good creative writing programs. Luckily, Emerson has both of these things while pretty much no other school in Boston has good creative writing. Unfortunately, it seems like the housing would be a problem since its not guaranteed and because I don't know anyone in Boston that I could have an apartment with or anything like that. I'm sure I'm not the first person that's had this problem, can anyone who's gone to Emerson/knows about the Emerson housing system help me out with this one? It just sucks to have to pass up a great academic opportunity because of something like housing.</p>
<p>are you accepted to Emerson for this Fall 2011…because they are not providing housing for any transfers for Fall 2011 so there will be plenty of students looking for roommates…</p>
<p>No I’m not accepted for Fall 2011, I’m thinking over applying for Spring 2012 and I feel like this is probably the deciding factor on whether or not I apply.</p>
<p>Yeah, I got accepted for Fall 2011 and they indeed told me at that at this time there is no housing for transfers, but Emerson does seem to help facilitate off-campus housing for its students.</p>
<p>How do you know you got accepted? I applied for transfer for Fall 2011 and they said the decisions will go out on May 15th.</p>

<p>I think that May 15th is the day that everyone will have heard back. But yeah you’re right all sophmore and junior transfers are in the same boat so I’m sure it won’t be hard to find roommates just hopefully its not too expensive.</p>
