Housing Is A Pain In The ***

So I got the email that says I am on the waitlist.

I called and they say they aren't exactly 100 percent full.

ITs just that they are still sorting things out.

Can some experienced highlanders tell me based on past history..if me as an incoming freshman who turned in app 1-2 weeks after deadline...

Will I get a room AT ALL???

I dont care if its the worst room in the world. but WILL I GET ONE?

..and if i dont..

Can financial aid pay for apartment?

bEcause I have almost full ride.

Im crossing my fingers for a dorm.

Please comment away

there will a couple more rooms available by the beginning of the year for sure, enough that I would think you would have a shot. If not, there will definitely be room by the end of first quarter.

As for finaid, I believe it will covers the cost of a nearby residence since that is part of your estimated financial need, but do not quote me on it.

Also, since I am transferring and have a room reserved you might end up with mine, who knows.

I'm sure you'll get one. Just make sure you don't forget your midterms and finals. I remember going to class once and the professor told us to bring out our blue books for our midterm. I just sat there thinking "oh crap."
