Housing Options

Hi, I'm a graduating senior thinking about attending U of I next year. I just want to know is it possible to get a triple or quad your freshman year with more than one roommate? 2-3 of my friends might be goin next year and we were wondering if we could all room together?

You can go private housing or university housing…

As for university housing you can get triples but there aren’t quads.

As for private housing there are a few dorms that can offer living for +2 people
-Bromley has double and triples. They are suite style so it’s like two rooms that are connected by a bathroom… so if you have 4 people total you could try to get two doubles that are connected.
-Presby is suite style dorm… it’s almost like an apartment but with RA’s. It has 3-4 bedrooms and it’s for 5-6 people.

which residence halls offer triples?

Which dorms in the 6 pack have triples? If we request a triple with 3 roomates would we be less likely to get the six pack?

I lived in Forbes and it had triples, but they weren’t much bigger than the doubles. From what I saw in other 6 pack buildings, they are laid out the same. Just a little warning.
