<p>Hey everyone, I happened to be on the home.nyu.edu website today and my housing was posted, EARLY! Woohoo! I got Washington Square Village in a shared suit (Building 4). Anyone else in my building or have housing in WSV? I cant find much information about it online. Any input appreciated!</p>

<p>Washington Square Village is for graduate students and faculty. It is actually right next to campus and close to the best of Greenwich Village. I think you will be very pleased.
It has a park and there is a public garage underground. I used to use it all the time when visiting NYU before D was accepted. Now I know where the free parking is ;)</p>
<p>I saw that my bill was recently adjusted to show that I got Rubin for around $3000, which I’m assuming is the LCT. I’m just praying it stays that way, and that its not just a place holder.</p>

<p>I do not think many of these #s and designated dorms are place holders anymore. My son and his roommate were both charged $5948 for 12th St. (or Founders) housing. That was the first choice for them. My son is really excited about this assignment.</p>

<p>Is Founders your first choice? Hope so, because if it is, Congrats! It has apparently moved up to the top in terms of ranking to compete with Hayden (if the reviews are to be believed). It really is a nice and spacious dorm (I visited with my son).</p>

<p>My son and his roommate found each other via the NYU Facebook and requested to be roommates for Freshman year. They both chose the same first choice dorm, Founders, and now it is listed in both of their updated Bursar’s housing charge.</p>
<p>yes it was my first choice…although it’s kinda far away from the main buildings…lol</p>
