<p>I got regents at SD so I know I get priority enrollment in classes and I know I get 4 years guaranteed housing... does having regents help get priority in housing too? </p>
<p>And also, submitting SIR / housing apps early.. does that help too?</p>

<p>You should have submitted your housing app ASAP. the purpose of that is to determine (sort of) in which order you get what you want.</p>
<p>if you absolutely want to guarantee yourself a single, provide a medical reason of some sort. Something like, I have the worst allergies in the world, especially to perfumes and lotions, and I am afraid that having a roommate may make them worse...may work. Or something like, I am unable to sleep with someone else in the room has worked before. Please do have a real, somewhat legitimate reason though.</p>
