Wandering on iRoar took us to a page for “Housing and Dining Sign Up Dates”. What does it mean that for Incoming Freshmen
“Jan 4: Contract opens
May 15: Contract closes
May 17: Time slot notification
May 18-20: Room selection for LLCs
May 23-26: Room selection for incoming freshmen
May 27-30: Room swap”
I have guesses for each but thought it best to ask.
DS has not yet decided so he has not yet paid a deposit. Does he lose his place in the housing line that he secured by applying in August if does not act in January?
My d is a freshman at Clemson…she did not put a deposit down until the very last minute right at the very end of April because she was undecided until then …it didn’t affect her housing at all …priority is given based on the date you applied (not completed app ,just application date) it is not based on when you deposit at all . D got her first choice for housing . She loves Clemson btw and made the right choice !
@cheer 2016. D chose Clemson House and the Health human dev LLC …she did not want to apply to the honors college for some reason and this was a nice compromise .She did have to apply for that LLC though .She has loved it because there are mostly nursing ,premed./prehealth and engineering majors on her floor so they are all great students .They do some extra things with the LLC and have gotten to interact with some of the faculty in their college .It was a great choice for her but I think this year is the last yr Clemson house is being offered as a living option due to the newer construction on campus and the age of the building .
