We need two spots together since we plan on rooming together! Really wanted apt style dorm… ugh… what is the next best choice in your opinion?

I got my first choice with my roommate…Rawlings, but it is a personal preference. I asked 3 people I know who go to UF (one male, 2 female) One said Broward, Rawlings or Jennings. One said Mallory or Rawlings. And one said Rawlings or Jennings. Since they all said Rawlings…that is what I picked. One had lived in Buckman, One lived in Fletcher, and the other in the off-campus dorm…the Ivy House.
{Also, They are all Greek and said best dorms for Greeks}

I am staying in Murphree for the Summer, and I almost stayed there, but it is mostly upperclassman in the Fall.

I just looked and only the traditional dorms have 2 spaces together, but you may be lucky and something else may open up. Good Luck

Thank you so much for the info!!! :)

Also, there a space open in a 2 room quad in Rawlings on the fourth floor. (Room 458) I called and asked about this room. It has 2 larger bedrooms and its own kitchen area. you can look at it on the fourth floor map. This is the room my roommate and I wanted, but there was only 1 space left.

So is this space in the quad at Rawlings for two people in the same room?? Or just one spot?

What kinds of rooms are left for girls in Simpson and Graham? Doublesor triples? & which floors?

So is there any guy that can tell me how many open doubles are left in either broward, rawlings, or Jennings.

The Rawlings was just one spot. If there was 2, I would have taken it w my roommate…I was just informing one person that it is an option

For Girls: Simpson there is 4 doubles with 2 spaces on fourth floor
Graham there is 30 doubles with 2 spaces…on second and fourth floors

Which hall is better … Simpson or Graham? Does it make a difference…2nd or 4th floor??

Girl Doubles with 2 spots…
Broward fourth floor…9 rooms
Rawlings…one on 3rd and many on fourth
Graham…many on second and fourth
Simpson… 4 on fourth floor
Trusler…many on second and fourth floors
Murphree…one in section D
Thomas …6 in section H
Tolbert…5 on second and many on fourth floor
Riker…4 on second and many on fourth floor
Mallory…2 on fourth floor
Reid 3 on fourth floor
Yulee 1 on third floor

That is all the doubles with 2 spaces left for girls
I think the reason the fourth floor goes last because of climbing the stairs

Can anybody provide that same information for guys though?

can anyone post what triples are left for guys? That would be greatly appreciated.

Ok maybe I’m just lost on how all of this is working, But there are room selection dates all the way up till June I believe. There has to be more rooms that just aren’t listed right now right?

I heard they will release some rooms later on, so I guess there are more that aren’t listed. I’m not sure though.

If you guys can’t find on campus housing… I have something off campus for you! :)

Because I am handing over my entire lease, it isn’t a sublease, rather will be transferred to your very own lease. This would be for Fall 2013-Summer 2014. If you do not want to stay for summer, you can then sublease on your own terms as this will now be your lease. I am giving up my lease because I have decided to move in with my boyfriend.

I live with three other girls who are very clean. They are all students at the University of Florida. We live at University Club Apartments. Here is the link: [University Club Apartments - Mobile Version](<a href=“UF Off-Campus Housing | University Club | Gainesville, FL”>http://universityclubapts.com/)

Some of the perks: The apartment is on the second floor. If you are looking at the floor plans of the apartments, I am in room B. The complex has a swimming pool, bus route with frequent buses, 24 hour gym, 24 hour free printing center, car wash station, and valet trash (you place your trash outside your door and have it picked up that morning).

The apartment is all furnished. There is a flat screen in the living room, leather couches, table, chairs, etc. The room comes with a night stand, full size bed, dresser, desk & chair, and you would have your own bathroom. Our apartment also have vaulted ceilings!

You would have your own individual lease, and rent is 485 a month. I have a cheaper price than what is currently being offered because I signed very early. Utilities are all included, you have a monthly cap and if you go over you just have to pay the difference. No pets allowed, sorry!

Please do not hesitate to shoot me an e-mail if you have any questions, my name is Sarah. sarahewilson@ufl.edu/email

Thanks! :)

I think there are more late application triples that are released later, and there is the overflow area ? But I am not sure what the overflow is or how that works.

Have the numbers changed at all? Anything open in Springs by any chance for two female spots??

It is pretty much the same…very little movement, and NO openings for 2 together in Springs or Lakeside
only the traditional community style dorms have 2 spots together for females

Does anyone known anything about Trusler Hall? I know that Graham, Simpson and Trusler are all in the same area…any pros/cons for each???
