Housing room availability updates?

Springs 5…room 304 has 2 spots available at this time in same room

Thanks for the updates! What does Springs 5 mean? Is that a certain building in Springs?

The Springs Complex has 6 buildings, numbered 1-6 (or 1081-1086), east to west. 1 & 2, 3 & 4, 5 & 6, are each connected by the elevator lobbies between them. So, the room that 2013cheer mentioned is on the 3rd floor of Building 5. They are all relatively close to each other (3 & 4 are closer to the commons, while 1 & 2 are closer to the bus stop).

Thanks for the info! Have you lived in Springs before? What do you think of the hall and the location??

@Bookworm That room in Springs is taken now but one opened up with 2 spots in building 4 room 0112

If it is gone by the time you pick, then just log on frequently for people change there minds and new rooms pop up all the time…

How many more dates for housing are there? Mine’s on 4/29 and I really want to get in Broward (male).

There are 8 more days before 4/29…here is the room selection dates:
[Fall » Housing & Residence Education » University of Florida](http://www.housing.ufl.edu/undergrad/apply/fall/)

The only rooms in broward for guys are late application triples

Am I the only one who feels like they don’t have enough dorms? Haha I mean we are still not even half way through selection dates and the only dorms in broward for guys are late application triples? Thursday cannot come soon enough so I can hurry up and get my room!

I was thinking that it doesn’t seem like there is enough spaces either! I don’t know what is going to happen, haha.

I thought I got all my stuff turned in early and was gonna pretty much get to pick any room. Now I’m just happy I won’t be homeless this fall haha

Haha atleast your date is Thursday and not some day in May! Who knows what those numbers are going to look like by then.

I do not think Late application triples have been released for all areas yet.(ie. Rawlings)
Also, The overflow area has always been 0/0 so they probably release some spots into that (whatever it is) But, yes, the rooms do seem sparse…especially for males.

Is it common for dorms to randomly get more open spots for various reasons? I really want to get in Broward. :</p>

yes…people change their minds and move rooms…maybe they don’t like the roommate they are placed with, ect.
Spots in Beaty have come and gone…and a new one pops up

Pick a spot during your date and keep looking for spots to open…you are allowed to move spots til the end of housing selection…Good Luck!!!

Can anyone give an update specifically, how many doubles and triples /vacancies are available in North Hall for girls?

For north there is one vacancy in a triple left and there are 10 spaces left in doubles.
