<p>Hello! I just submitted my Rutgers housing application about a week and a half ago and I was just wondering, when do you find out which dorm (on which campus) you will be living in? Also, when do you find out who your roommates will be? </p>

<p>P.S. I am really hoping for McCormick!</p>

<p>You should be notified sometime in August.</p>

<p>Also, McCormick is for honors students. So if you requested honors housing on Busch then it is highly likely that you will be placed in McCormick. I don’t know if I’ve ever heard of honors students getting their second choice housing (I lived in honors housing on College Ave).</p>

<p>You’ll probably know by mid August. If, over the summer, you’re concerned about what campus you’re placed on, I believe mailing addresses were released on myRutgers before your room assignment. If your address is on BPO Way, it’s Busch and you’d probably be in McCormick.</p>

<p>Okay, where is myRutgers on the school website? Also, I was wondering about roommate requests. I want to room with this guy that I know from Facebook (I was looking for possible roommates and he seems like a nice person). I heard that if you and your potential roommate want to room together, you have to put each other’s names on the housing application. Is this also true?</p>

<p>You might have to put their RUID on the application as well. Look at the application and see or call housing dept.</p>

<p>Oh I forgot to mention we put in each other’s RUID numbers as well lol. What I am asking is does this mean we will be roommates? Also, how do I login to myRutgers (do I need to create an account)?</p>

<p>Go to the myRutgers page and click on the login. It will bring you to the next page. At the bottom, in small font, it says, “If you do not yet have a NetID you may create an account and NetID.” Click on that.</p>

<p>If you both requested each other as roommates, that should take care of it afaik.</p>
