Housing Stress

HI everyone! I just applied for freshman housing at CU boulder today (February 19, 2018) and I’m worried since I did not apply right away (February 4, 2018) I will not get my first choice dorm. I would be equally happy with Baker, Sewall, Farrand, or Libby but Willard was also on my list. I also put kitterage as my 6th preference but I really do not want to be there. Anyway, I am just wondering if I applied too late or if at this point I still have a solid chance with getting one of my top 4 choices. Please share your experiences!! Hoping for some reassurance here hehe

EDIT: I know that these dorms tend to fill up most quickly which is why I’m so worried!

You have a solid chance at the first four, if you waited until March then it would be more iffy.

Are the Engineering Quad dorms hard to get if you wait until spring?
Or is there priority placement for Engineering direct admits, so it would not be a problem to wait?

The later you wait the more likely you will be in Williams village, although my guess is that the engineering quad is the last to fill up on the main campus.

And Williams Village is arguably quieter and very nice. Good cafeteria over there, Recreation Center, and even health services on that residential campus. Also upper classmen live at Williams Village, its not just a “freshman jungle”.
