I'm a Junior who dormed freshman year and commuted sophomore and this year. I'm thinking about dorming either on or off-campus my senior year but I'm leaning towards a single, and that's hard to come by dorming on-campus...

So, for a Senior who only dormed on-campus freshman year, are there any good advice for getting a single either on or off-campus?
(Also, if it's off-campus then can I find a single bedroom lodging at a safe place with a rent that's at or below on-campus dorming?)

You’d probably be better off with off-campus housing since getting into the lottery system as of last year is difficult, if not almost impossible. I suppose they’re trying to keep people from leaving on campus housing to commute or live off campus since it’ll be harder to come back.

Find a few friends looking for off-campus housing and you can most likely get a single room in a house. If not, I often see fliers around looking for a house mate to help pay house expenses and live with them.
