I am hoping to transfer to Notre Dame in the fall, but I need to know some things about housing. I am looking to live in an apartment if I can transfer, but I won't know my decision until at least May. But by May, most people that will live off campus will have everything settled with their apartments for the next year. I can't start apartment searching in South Bend right now since I don't even know if I will go to the university for a while and I don't want to sign any lease for a place I might not live in. Meanwhile, I plan to live in an apartment if I don't transfer, but I have the same problem there. Any advice?
