I assumed that housing was supposed to be filed after deciding on which school to attend, so I found out today I was actually late to apply for it. I sent in my application for housing tonight, but I hear there is extreme competition for dorm space, am I to late to get a dorm? What am I supposed to do?
Are you a freshman or a transfer? Are you sure that you aren’t looking at dates for continuing students? How can they expect freshmen to commit when they haven’t even sent out financial packages? My son is considering CPP, but is still waiting on a few other UCs. I won’t send him to a college unless he can live on campus his freshman year.
Im a potential freshman, there site says to apply for housing before you commit due to limited space. there exact words are its easier to cancel later then the alternative.
it is honestly unnecessarily confusing to me
Anyone have any insight on which are the preferred freshman dorm options?
@sddanr This link can help you with what theme community in the dorms would be best suited for your major
http://www.cpp.edu/~housing/housing-options/theme-living-communities.shtml
So, we discovered that you can register for CPP housing prior to enrolling, and can obtain a refund on the $450 deposit if you cancel > 30 days prior to the beginning of the quarter. Since priority is given based on the order of registration, my son submitted his housing application even though he has not made a final decision if he will attend CPP.
How do you signup for housing? The housing site allows me to login, but there is no options to signup. I can add emergency information, but nothing else. There is this text “Academic Year 2016-2017 (License Term starting Sept. 21, 2016)”, but it is not hyperlinked.
haven’t gotten in yet, would i be way too late for housing?
@ontherails I had the same issue but I called and you have to go to Online Services on the main CPP page and then click on University Housing. Login using your Broncodirect username and password and then fill out the application.

@DNuge98 And it never hurts to try to apply, I applied alittle late too but I think I got in never hurts to try!
Thanks. I tried it the day after paying the enrollment deposit and the application became available.
