Which Ridgecrest south rooms face the front of the building? Is it odd numbers on one side, even on the other? Is it the north tower with the basketball court in the courtyard or the south tower?

Also, my son has first day second hour picking time. He is pulling in one friend. He has two other friends that have the third or fourth day to pick… Should he pick his room and hope the other two can get in or would he be safe to wait so they all pick together to get the same quad? Would there still be quad space in Ridgecrest south if they waited? Or can he pick his room And if two random people take the other two rooms are they able to change their pick?

Definitely pick at the earliest possible day/time! And yes, if two random people take the other two rooms in the chosen suite, your son and the original suite-mate can change. But as you’ve heard, rooms “disappear before your eyes”, so the change would need to be done very quickly (wouldn’t want to lose out on Ridgecrest completely). They’ll have to see how it goes…they may end up not wanting to give up their original suite pick! Good luck to him.
