<p>Do most upperclassemen stay in dorms or live off campus? How are the themed dorms, arts one in particular. Also where is is Ithaca in terms of Syracuse and great NY skiing?</p>
<p>syracuse is about 45 minutes away. haha i know because i had to go back and forth between cornell and syracuse when i visited in august</p>
<p>Cornell has a relationship with a skiing place called Greek Peak. You can take skiing lessons, at levels ranging from beginner to expert, at Greek Peak for PE credit, and transportation is provided. (There is, of course, an extra fee for this course, but then, there is an extra fee for almost everything at Cornell.) There is a ski club that runs busses to Greek Peak, too.</p>
<p>buy the season pass for greek peek through the ski and snowboard club at Cornell. They're only like $140 for a season while day-passes are around $50 each. Well worth it! There is a bus every saturday and sunday that can take you to greek peek if you don't have a car.</p>
