Where's the best place to live if you're a freshman trying to meet new people and such...?

Johnson, Hardwick, (and Peabody, which is a smaller building) are the "traditional style" dorms.... so you've got a community bathroom, and around 20 rooms on each side, which are double rooms (the end rooms on each floor house 4)
The other freshman dorms are 1300, 1940 and White Hall. They are "suite style" so you have a private bathroom between 2 rooms, each with 2 roommates.

From personal experience, I think Johnson's the best bet.
(Hardwick and Peabody are much smaller, especially since you can't bunk the beds)
I always thought the suite-style rooms were much more isolated, because you kind of have your seperate little place apart from everyone else. In J&H, you can leave your door open, so it's much more social!

Besides, sophomore year, if you choose to live on campus, all the dorms are suite-style, so you'll get a taste of that then. And you can choose who you want to live with :)
