is it easy to get a single?

I'm not going to say that you will be guaranteed to get a single, but I think you should have a pretty good shot at getting one. Try requesting quarto with a single. I think this would be your best bet plus you will still have suite mates and won't be COMPLETELY isolated while still having your privacy.

aight ill give it a shot

thanks for the help!

Oh yeah, I have a question:

It's cheaper to dorm in a triple, right? So suppose theres two people who want to dorm together, but want a triple... can they designate each other as roomates and then also try to get a triple?

:/

Any actual numbers on the different prices for each type of dorm? (triple, single, double etc)

it's in here, go check it out. http://www.housing.ucdavis.edu/prospective/fees_reshalls.htm

Ah sweet, thanks cei!

And I'm assuming these costs are in the "Basic Living" portion of financial aid?

Hm, I'm not too sure about that, but it sounds just about right haha.

Sort of off-topic but:

Should i bring my PC with me? I was planning on doing so and also buying a laptop.

you are required to have a computer but I don't think you need two. A laptop will be easier and will enable you to take easier notes in class.
