<p>Should I still fill-up a Housing application form even though I'm not sure if I'm going to be dorming? It's more like a back up plan if my parents suddenly decide that it's cheaper for them if I dorm than to buy me a car and/or a parking permit.</p>

<p>It only costs you $20 to go ahead and do the housing reservation now (before May 1st).</p>
<p>If you haven’t decided by when your housing contract is due (sometime in May), you’ll have to decide whether you want to risk losing some or all of the $350 deposit. The 2009-10 contracts aren’t available yet, but this was the cancellation policy last year:</p>
<ol>
<li>Receipt of written notification prior to 5 p.m. on May 23, 2008, results in a $100 late cancellation charge.</li>
<li>Receipt of written notification prior to 5 p.m. on July 11, 2008, results in a $150 late cancellation charge.</li>
<li>Receipt of written notification prior to 5 p.m. on August 15, 2008, results in a $200 late cancellation charge.</li>
<li>Receipt of written notification prior to 5 p.m. on September 19, 2008, results in a $250 late cancellation charge.</li>
