Housing

I'm just curious that do most ppl perfer living in dorms or apartment like channing?

i live on the street

I’m living in an apartment with a friend for the summer and the only thing I actually miss is meal points. They’re just so convenient to have on campus and I feel less guilty buying the overpriced items with meal points rather than “real” money. Maybe I’m just lazy 'cause technically I could just buy it at a cheaper price at other stores, but I usually don’t plan ahead.
Apartment living is superior though, I think. If you do go for an apartment room with a friend 'cause I know some people who hardly talk to their apartment roommates and that’s just unfortunate.

you can buy the meal points regardless of whether you are in a dorm. [Cal Dining - Residential Dining - Non-Residential Meal Plans 10-11](http://caldining.berkeley.edu/meal_plans_offcampus.html)

So usually which meal plans we should choose, blue, gold or platinum?

isn’t platinum like 1000 points? that means you should go to the DC’s at least twice a day. I guess it works if you refuse to cook in your house lol…

Since you can always buy more points, but you can’t get a refund, it is probably best to start low and see how it goes. you may find you get sick of dc food, or find some favorite place to eat.
