How am I doing so far(chances for soon to be junior) ?

Im going to be a junior next year and just wondering if I am close to being on track?
probable stats by time of graduation
white
male
rural school
out of state
as of right now first in my class of about 450
ecs:
vp of class
debate
robotics club
going to be a three year varsity captain
all-region first team football
I'll have 350-500 volunteer hours at a science museum
work at a science museum and at a millwork
mentorship doing research with a professor of engineering for three years
a really in-depth hobby of robotics(room full of robots that I taught myself to build and program)
state science fair/isef awards

but I am not so sure about my summers. I will teach at a science fair camp and continue my mentorship. But i will also be working more than one job and training for various sports. I can olny fit in maybe one MIT camp throughout high school. Is this okay for summers?

I don't know what my sats and act scores will be yet

But on what I know I will have?

also I don't know if this is important.....
but I'd be the first in my family to go to college
my family was also not born in america besides myself

Would you think I have a chance ?

bump???

it sounds like you’re exploring your passions

forget about MIT; you have two years to explore yourself. from what i read, it sounds like you have some achievements ahead of you. maybe the admissions commitee will recognize that, maybe they wont. what’s important is that you’re pursuing your interests for YOURSELF and not for mit.

keep working!

ummm why are you worried about college in sophmore year… you should enjoy your life so your heart doesnt get broken too badly… worry about college at the end of next year

^^^^^^^^^^^CORRECTO!

Live life, Enjoy life. Worry about college in senior year.

It’s good that you’re thinking about your future, but I think that becomes more important junior year. By senior year (in my opinion) it’s too late to look back and say, “Oh man! I didn’t take x years of y, now I can’t apply,”
Right now the best things you can do are find out what things really give you a zest for life and to make sure you’re on track when it comes to the recommended courses MIT/other schools you’re considering require. If you’re taking Biology this year, I’d recommend taking the Bio SAT II at the end of the year because MIT requires a Math SAT II and a science SAT II.
MIT is a very hard school for anyone to get into, and it’s important to remember this. Make sure to explore other colleges that might be a good match for someone of your intelligence and interests (some good ones: Carnegie Mellon, UChicago, RPI, WUSL, Harvey Mudd).
Good luck!
