I have written my essays and I am really proud of them, and think they're at least above average. I pray.

Eagle69, I think ND puts their app up on August 1st so they may change their essay topics from last year. You commented that you have already written your essays so just be aware that you may have completely different topics. Many schools change their supplemental essays year to year.

As for your chances, I kind of hate those but your ACT is great obviously. Don’t know if gpa is weighted or unweighted. I would contact your regional rep in August and ask for their opinion about whether you should go early or not.

I think you look great. One thing that jumped out at me though, is how do you have 4 years of football and 3 years of marching band? Isn’t marching band performing during half time and throughout your football games? I’m thinking that you might be more of a part time band member, but you should clarify that as otherwise it might make them wonder. Just my thoughts.

This is true that I cannot march games, but I went to the state fair and other local parades and trips, as well as NYC with the marching band. I’ll clarify this. Thanks!

Solid chances. ND loves varsity athletes; especially those with community service and excellent academics. I can’t say you’re a shoo-in (I can never say that–you just never know), but you definitely have better chances than many.
