How did all of you guys persevere and gut out those two years before you got your chance to be where you wanted to be? I haven't even begun my two years yet and it already seems like way toooo long a time to wait. Recently it seems that all I think about is college, and the fact that I am going somewhere that doesnt suit me. The only thing that gives me comfort is to know that my time will come in a couple years. Do you guys have any tips on how to deal with the waiting and anxiety? Thank you very much for your help.

The prospect of transferring can actually be a very powerful motivator. A lot of people slack off in college, but if you know you want to transfer you'll need to be diligent throughout.

I would definitely keep in mind that the name of the school does not guarantee success or happiness. If you go into school with an open mind, you might be pleasantly surprised. Work hard, but don't convince yourself that you're just slaving away toward this end goal.

Funderstanding.

keep yourself BUSY. if you don't have much friends in the area since they're all going off.. get a job, study hard, get a girlfriend/boyfriend. seriously, the best thing is to do is to keep your mind occupied so you don't think so much. thinking too much about getting out of where you are right now will just make the process seem even slower and drive u crazy.. haha.

Thank you so much for the advice, hopefully I can go out and apply it for the next couple of years. If I can keep myself occupied, hopefully the time will pass by quicker, thanks again.
