How Are Graduate Degrees and Certificates Online From Reputable Schools Perceived

I have noticed a lot of non-profit schools are offering graduate degrees and certificates. Stanford that has a few grad certificates in CS and an online Masters. Georgia Tech now has an online MS in computer science. Northwestern has masters in data analytics, among others.

I know many people look down on online degrees. However, if it is from a reputable school like Stanford or GT, would it hold a pretty strong reputation with employers and other graduate schools?

It depends on whether it is the same degree a live student in the program would get. If so then it really does not matter. The degree will be judged on the value it provides to the graduates.
