How are my chances for Pepperdine, UCSB, UCI, Cal Poly SLO, and University of Miami

Anyone else??

I think that you have a very good shot at Pepperdine, even with the 1850 SAT. But retake it just to be safe.

Good luck

nice ECs, GPA and SATs are a bit low though- does your school have a limited amount of AP/Honors classes? Currently, I’d say you’re a match to all except Miami which is probably a reach. If you get a 2000 like you say, I can see you being accepted to Miami (especially because you’re a minority, colleges really look at that).
What state do you live in- I’m pretty sure if you lived in Florida you’d have a better chance of getting into Miami.

Please chance back; http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1408517-please-chance-me-tufts-chicago-cornell-darmouth-northwestern-florida.html#post14978932

How is my gpa low? It’s on a 4.0 scale

With regards to ethnicity, I would suggest ging on CB.org and going to each school, and then look at the admissions section to see what they put an emphasis on. If the “ethnicity” is higher up in the list, then you are in. If not, then id say they are all match/high match.

Again, I dont really know tooo much about these schools so its just my opinion

My SAT scores are safely in that Mid-Range thing for all the schools and my GPA is above average for those schools so I think those schools are at least matches
