<p>How are research opportunities for engineers at Berkeley? Are they hard to come by for an undergraduate?</p>

<p>The professor who interviewed me for the Regent's Scholar told me about this program (Undergraduate Research Apprentice Program), he regularly allow undergrads in his lab (biochem):
