Good luck!

Btw, what do you ride?

Good luck!

Btw, what do you ride?

the green/white Kawasaki Ninja 250r. are you familiar with motorcycles? I see you’re at Rice right now, do you see bikes in the parking lot or is it mainly cars that students own? And freshmen can own a vehicle I hope right?

There are a few bikes here, although a large number of people have cars. And yes, freshmen are allowed to bring vehicles. My roommate for example, owned a Ninja 500 (in orange)

Im thinking about either a Yamaha R6 or FZ6 right now.

your previous roommate? he must have gotten a lot of attention from the ladies (see title of this thread which I almost forgot about). do you get new roomies cause you said “owned”.

I’m don’t know about motorcycles that much, I just got the Ninja cause its a beginners bike and it seems to be just fine, why do you want a 600 cc bike?

I should have said my former roommate owns a bike. I graduated in may so I am not living with them anymore.

Haven’t decided on a 600cc bike yet. If I do, those are my choices. I am toying with a ninja 250 myself. Some people recommend a 500 or 600 due to my height.

Is your Ninja the old body or new one?

its the 2010 body, so there’s a white bottom kinda and a new design, its not just straight lime green.

I can’t wait to ride in a hot weather college, I live in NE so it’s not that amazing even though its great.

nice. the 2008 redesign totally changed that bike. That’s awesomee

“Girls at Rice love motorcycles”+“Girls at Rice can tell you how your motorcycle is designed inefficiently”=Love

^haha.

Antarius, you should definetley look at the Ninja. I mean even if people say you should get more cc’s its safer to keep it down, and the ninja is treated like a “standard” in insurance if you care. But then again I don’t know how fast you ride or how good you are, but if you’re just alright I mean its a good bike and it can go fast.

where and when did you get your license? I’m the only person in my school who has a motorcycle endorsement, probably cause the winter is a huge annoyance. a license would transfer over to another state, right?

Not sure what that means. Could you elaborate?

Also, I haven’t gotten my license. I drove a motorcycle abroad for a bit. And I am pretty sure you can transfer a license. Your OOS license should work as well.

Worst case, you have to take a dumb written test, which you will ace and then get it.

a standard motorcycle is to a sports bike like a sedan is to a coupe, but even though the ninja has the look of a sports bike its still like a beginners bike and gets lower insurance rates.

did you get my PM?
