<p>To answer the question:
I think Berkeley has a bad reputation because… honestly, those college rating sites, when they try to rank “hotness,” only take into account conventional, mainstream American beauty – that is, fake blonde and overly tanned barbies. Of course ASU would rank near the top of those lists! And given the proportion of Asians, the less forgiving weather, and the general laid back atmosphere of Berkeley (at least, appearance-wise), it’s obvious that Berkeley would fail those charts. People at Berkeley aren’t ugly. We just don’t care enough to slather on makeup for those 8AM treks to Evans. </p>
<p>In any case, there are plenty of cute Asians. ;)</p>

I’ve been to Cal a lot. I would say that there is, yeah, basically “hot/cute” and “ugly”. I didn’t see that many in betweens. But then I think that “nerdy” people can be cute, like Adam Brody for example. And asians are def not the only ones that are cute 
for guys. But yeah there are a lot of cute asian girls, I think.</p>

All my friends are at least 5 inches taller than me. there will be a lot of guys who are taller (from my experience, since I’ve lived on the east coast too), but of course you’ll have your short ones too. my bff’s brother who goes to berkeley is 6’5 if that helps.</p>

<p>And regarding the height issue, almost everybody is pretty tall at my school. But that’s a generalization in itself. I assure you that there’ll a wide diversity of height. You’ll find shorties and tall ones all around.</p>

<p>Okay, okay. Here’s a difficult question. Are there many smart, hot guys who don’t have ginormous egos? I dunno. I go to a very white school and all the guys I’ve ever dated are white. All the asian guys I’ve met at other schools are extremely nerdy but not so smart and all they ever do about is blab about their SAT scores and other “stellar” accomplishments they made, study and debate. snore. What all those guys have in common is that ginormous ego. so any smart, hot and humble guys at Cal? (at least semi humble?) Or am I just idealistic and naive?</p>
