<p>Well, maybe it’s because the only asian guys I’ve been exposed to are the ones doing speech and debate.

<p>On the height note, I feel like Berkeley girls are rather short and I don’t just mean the Asian ones. I was in a 6 people line in a Le Conte bathroom today and I was the tallest person in line by at least half a head. Two of the girls were Asian but the other three were Caucasian. I’m about 5’3" and I was wearing thin flip flops, but it just weirded me out that I was the tallest person in the bathroom until the 7th girl (a 5’5" Asian girl) walked in.</p>

<p>I wasn’t in math leagues either, as it happens! Plenty of mathematicians who appreciate the abstract beauty of math did not enjoy math competitions at any stage given there is a difference between producing clever solutions to hard problems and what actual mathematics is about.</p>
<p>KitKatz: Totally true. The girls here really tend to be on the short side. There are some tall modelesque girls around, but most are of medium height. 5’1" would make you of average height at least amongst the girls at Berkeley. </p>
<p>As for anime dude…has the OP tried a Japanese middle school? ;)</p>
<p>On guys…I don’t know…All I know is I’m not a big fan of a lot of the engineering school guys. Some of them find it really hard to believe that girls would like nothing less than to hear of their amazing academic endeavors and social conquests (I’m an engineer as of right now so a lot of the people I hang out with are engineers.). Then there are a few creepy guys. But here I go accounting all of the negatives again. I’m sure there are guys that would fit your description out there, KitKatz. There are plenty of wonderful Berkeley guys out there for you to meet. Besides, probability is on your side (unless you’re looking for Superman or something equally exotic).</p>

<p>I rarely stay up late for schoolwork this semester. Yesterday and today I’ve been staying up late to do my laundry actually and I have no classes tomorrow though I might audit a class or attend office hours.</p>
<p>Oh good lord, 8 AM? How do you guys do that??? I would never sign up for a class earlier than 9. </p>

<p>Just like Nike. Just do it. I don’t want 8am’s… the only way my classes will fit… is by taking 8am’s. I calculated my schedule. I will have 8am’s every single day for my first 2 years in college… I’m not sure about 3rd and 4th years…</p>
