How are these ECs

<p>Im only a frshman so lots of time to improve and add
- 2nd degree black belt
- Varsity soccer as a junior (probably the future seniors are not good)
- Play guitar 5 years
- Play saxophone 6 years
- Play piano 3 years</p>

<p>Once again im a freshman i have plenty more but they are like 8th grade achievement which means nothing but is this a good start</p>

<p>ECs that you do in high school really are all the matter as you said…
It depends where you are applying, they are not unique or amazing, but do show commitment. You are lacking in leadership and community service which will be a problem for the most selective schools. Also do not count on varsity…</p>
