<p>I'm quite aware, patients is a virtue, and by no means did I mean to make this thread as a complaint/etc. thread.</p>
<p>I'm just curious, is there a system they're going by for releasing it? I thought rolling meant "first come, first serve" but based on what people have said, this doesn't seem to be the case.</p>
<p>One could also say they were doing the "absolute yes's" but not everyone who has been accepted seems to fit that criteria, and not even everyone that has been accepted got accepted to honors.</p>
<p>So, is this just completely random? It seems there's a mix of early/late, definite/on the fence, and in/out of state.</p>
<p>Our daughter heard back from Boston College that she was accepted on 12/17, but status on UConn’s website still says “check back frequently…” She no longer feels the need to do that!</p>
<p>Other years it was “first come, first served.” This year is absolutely ridiculous. For an applicant who applied in early October and still is waiting for a decision, something seems very wrong this year. We are aware of other students who have heard back within the last week, but for our daughter, she no longer cares! Sorry!</p>
<p>That’s great about your daughter! Congratulations! Yea, I got accepted into my reach school, so that certainly helps with the waiting. But that’s quite a bit more expensive, so can’t rule anything out just yet!</p>
<p>Yeah, I saw some boards where they said the date on the website was December 8th… and they heard back. Where as those in October haven’t. Ah well, though</p>

<p>S has so far heard back from each and every EA and rolling addmissions school-much more selective and competitve schools than UConn. This is not my first dance with UConn’s ridiculouly slow and seemingly disorderly addmissions process. UConn put us through this same crazy waiting game 4 years ago with my older son who happily will be graduating from another New England insititution this coming spring.</p>

Application submitted in Oct. Web site says application was completed on Nov. 4 keep checking. After other admits… UCONN is dropping quickly on our list as well.<br>
For those who really want UCONN (instate people… maybe there will be more room for you!!!)</p>
<p>I’m still waiting too. My application was complete October 28th and I haven’t heard anything. I really want to go to Uconn, but I’m getting impatient, especially after hearing people who applied way after me that already got in.</p>
