I’m buying a lottery ticket the next time I go out.

yeah, after the budget cuts for UCs…well, I’m definitely not going to a UC anymore. oh well.

It’s times like these that I wish my parents were extremely rich.

^you sound like a ■■■■■

my name isn’t vietnam jeeeeeeeeez. i posted 2 minutes after you :(

OOS? Your FA wasn’t going to be decent anyway. In-state, it probably wouldn’t make much difference.

I still regret not making much of an effort on the UCLA Regents app, or it would have been nice if they just gave it to me like UCSD. lol

Not OOS, just one of my siblings went to private, one to a UC (and UC turned out to be more expensive for my parents).

It seems to me that tuition is just going to keep going up. I won’t get any FA at a UC. On the other hand, private colleges can be very generous with FA. At least for my sister, private was cheaper than UC Berkeley and UCLA.

FULL RIDE! (with laptop lol)

My parents are paying about 25k a year… It’s like 20% of our income… And they’re not making me take out loans or work… Though I probably will work because I’m a workaholic… So I’m basically incredibly blessed to have parents who will take care of my undergrad education.

Also… We have no savings… Like <20k… Well at least we’ve got first year covered…

the gates millennium scholarship i am very fortunate and it is such a relief.
