How artsy is Vassar?

I admit: I dropped out of art my junior year. I have done theatre and musical theatre throughout high school, but not for anything but pure fun and entertainment (my friends tended to participate in the theatre program) - so I am a member of the Thespian society and all, but I had never really planned to continue with any type of drama in college.

I applied to Vassar mainly because it A) has a gorgeous campus; B) has outstanding academics; C) has a small student body; D) it has a program I'm interested in.

I hear all of the time about how artsy Vassar is. My question is, if I'm not a terribly artsy type of person, would I have trouble fitting in or finding stuff to do?

I'm not an artsy person at all and I'm LOVING every minute @Vassar. The artsy generalization does not limit campus activities because the student body is very diverse. I find Vassar artsy in the sense that it very much promotes creativity and encourages freedom of expression (that applies to everything, from clubs to events to academics..). And also, a lot of people coming here have great background in the arts (acapella, drama, music, you name it) so you're just constantly amazed by the talents you're surrounded by. Such environment is really beautiful and inspiring!
