I got in and into the honors college. Ill probably sitting at 2 A’s (IB Latin and IB Psychology), 2 B’s (IB Physics and IB English) and maybe 2 C’s (IB 20th Century and AP Calc AB). The C’s could go either way between a B or a C. Other than that I have not dropped any extracurriculars or such.
I mean the rule of thumb is if the GPA drops a whole grade point, then its bad. Try to get As and Bs only, hopefully all A’s.
I’m sitting at a 3.91 from the previous three years. There’s no possible way that I would let it go down a grade point. At worst, it could drop to a 3.5. It that bad enough?
Lol not at all. I’m on scholarship and made almost straight C’s my second semester and was totally fine. Calc isn’t an easy course. Even a high D in what is objectively perfived extremely difficult class should be fine so long as you justify that you struggled in the class. Don’t worry about it at all.
@Pastpower What school do you go to? UNC?
@catwoman101 Yes I am a first year.
Try to get those C’s up. You will not be rescinded but they might take away the honor’s college. Good luck!
