How bad is a C on midyear and final transcript reports?

<p>AP Physics is killing my grade and I estimate that I'm going to have a C as a final year grade. So far I have a C- in the class (which has a possibility of dropping to a D+ if I do bad on the labs). And I know this C will show up on my midyear and final transcript reports. However, everyone else will be A's and B's no doubt. </p>

<p>But how bad will this look on my college application? I'm applying to one Early Decision, one Early Action and the rest Regular Decision. Could it possibly get my application rescinded?</p>

<p>Make sure you add into the “additional information” box that you have reasons (but not excuses) for not doing so great in the class. How are your other grades? If you get deferred from the ED school and you still really want to go, make sure you work your hardest in Phsyics and improve your grade and continue to send your progress reports so they can see your upward trend and hard work.</p>
