Just wondering on how that affects college admissions for engineering schools like Purdue, Ohio State and Illinois. And specifically for Ohio State, would that affect my chances on direct admission?
What subject is the C? What is your GPA?
@dunboyne It’s in a class not related to Mechanical Engineering but it was an honors elective
@dunboyne For the GPA, un-weighted is 3.58 and weighted is 4.2
2 C’s is not going to be a deal-killer. But more importantly than worrying about what adcoms might think is reflecting on what is telling you. Why did you get the C’s? No interest in the material? Class too tough? Didn’t spend time on it? There’s lots of potential reasons. If you are smart you’ll think about why you got the C’s and what you can do different in the future.
@mikemac Thank you for the advice. Even though I wasn’t the most interested in this class, there was still no excuse for getting the grade that I had and next time I’ll make sure that I stay on top of things. Thanks!
