C in Calc A as a soph hurt my chances when...? (HELP please)

sophomore year was my C in Calc A (afterwards I was like...oopss...)
but in Calc BC I got A's both semesters and a 5 on the AP Test! :)

I've heard that C's are no-no's, but is the C really that bad or no? I am thinking about being an engineer.

please and thank you!

I think that you should be alright. It obviously isn't great, but the fact that you did well (great) in Calc BC shows that you know your math. If your GPA is still good and you didn't get many other C's you should be fine a good college.

Wahhhh. I'm a big baby I got a C

No it doesn't matter. Take it easy

thanks!! my GPA U.W. is 3.8

I got one C in my life, in trig though. It was devistating at first, but when I brought it up the second semester and had a talk with my techer she said she would be more than happy to write about my extra effort in my recommendations. When I look back on it I kind of laugh, MANY kids get atleast one C in their life, expecially ones who take demanding courses. Don't sweat it, something good might even come out of it, like a good REC.
