Hi, I'm planning on applying to UCI/UCSD and Cal Poly Pomona from a community college as a biomedical engineer major.
After summer, I'll have a gpa of 3.0 (ouch). BUT I have a 2.2 GPA freshmen year, 3.2 soph year, 3.6 junior year.

Do UC's forgive a bad year, or at least don't take it much into consideration if I've been consistently improving?

EC:
-Volunteer teaching vietnamese to kids as well as helping fund raise
-Intern at a company where biomedical engineers work at
-Work part time

Thanks!
