How bad is your school? [Top the poster above you]

I'm on the school yearbook. There's a team meeting tomorrow. Only 3 people are going to show up. Above that, only God knows where the key to our yearbook room [broom closet, more like it] is [they more or less stole it from me], and the computer in there is fried [Windows literally won't boot up] and the administration is not at the school to provide a replacement laptop or something for us to use for the day. We're supposed to hand in the work beginning of September. The admin. doesn't get back til after that. Awesome.
And to think I was excited about producing a yearbook at first.

Anyone care to top this with some random story about your school?

My high school is so bad that…

Actually it isn’t.

We have 2 full astroturf fields lol

I was sent to the office for “making websites about people” (***?)
Only 1 person got a 5 on the AP Chem exam last year, and 3 this year. 40 people each year in the class.
AP pass rate is 20% below the national average despite being in a very wealthy town.
Lots of kids smoke pot and some kids were expelled and arrested for being in an ecstasy ring.

Something along these line happened to me, but not in school. <_<

There are no boys.

Academically, athletically, it is one of the top schools in our area though. But yeah ^

“There are no boys.” -> I could never go to such a school.

Our school is 40 years old and when they renovate it, they do stupid things like upgrading the music rooms instead of actual classrooms. (I think I’m just bitter because that was the year I stopped taking music, haha.)

Mine too. So a group of girls stalk the 30 yr old male art teacher.

WOW!! You guys have no idea what a bad school is!!!

My school has a 1350 Average SAT score. I can name you guys many people from my school that have gotten below 800 on the SAT (out of 2400)

. In each of my AP classes (except calc AB/BC), we had about 5 people taking the AP exams, 3 of whom got a below a 3.
We have had about 5 people going to ivies over the past 4 years: 0 in 2007, 2 in 2008, 3 in 2009, and 0 in 2010. Considering our history, that’s not that bad but considering this website’s history, that’s nothing. Our socioeconomic status is not bad, come to think of it.

Nearly everyone who graduates goes to the local community college Las Positas, but we call it Lost Potential. Or if you’re feeling adventurous, you may try The College Behind Costco, a community college in the next town over. They never transfer, but they do sell drugs and get to live with their parents.

My school’s average ACT is about a 20, which isn’t too bad I guess. But, we had two stabbings last year, one with a screwdriver. And like half the security guards are sleazebags that smoke with students.

Our counselors messed up the schedules so horribly that two of my friends don’t even have a first period. It’s just blank on the spot where 1st period is supposed to be.

We have had 1 person go to an Ivy League school in the past 4 years.

We had about 22 out of 337 kids go out of state for college last year.

One of the police officers that work my school got fired last year for allegedly telling a girl she looked like a stripper.

1/3 of last year’s class went to the local community college.

Our assistant principal is an alcoholic who swigs coffee and vodka while at school.

It’s no big deal.

The most famous graduate of my school was the Unabomber. Okay, maybe not the most famous…

The most famous guy who went to my high school was an assassin. That one I’m pretty confident in saying the most famous.

^^ the Unabomber was a mathematical genius of a sort.

Neither could I.

My school’s ACT and SAT scores are below 19 and 1300, respectively.
There is a schism between the IB kids and the non-IB.
The lunch tables are EXTREMELY segregated.
Fights occur daily, with ISS being filled with kids, just sleeping.
We have a daycare with over 30 kids, most being Students. 2 are teachers’ children.

We have repetitive dog checks. Yet over half the school smokes weed and deals it in the bathrooms. There are also a plethora of other drugs dealt here.

We have bomb scares and lockdowns and gang threats repeatedly.
Guns are a problem at my school.

We have sex rings.

My school is 33% hispanic, with a good 2/3 of that being gang affiliated.

We have a large list of people in jail or prison within the past 10 years.
Sports team are filled with thugs.

We’ve have multiple people a few weeks ago convicted for rape.
I know like 10 people in jail right now.

15 yr old guys with 3 baby’s mamas.

A mentally unstable student at my school was expelled for masturbating in class as the teacher described the various characteristics of dead and decaying bodies. This student had also been known for putting tacks on his desk and slamming his forehead into them. He was charged with a crime for the incident, but it would have been a felony had anyone under the age of 16 been in the class at the time.

Damn some of your high schools are crazyy…
How about this tho:

During the school day, we saw a naked couple having sex in the forest near our school. All the teachers/everybody saw it. When they got caught, they were found running nakedly on the streets, trying to get away from the cops.

^We can hear people down the block having sex from the chemistry room.

And that’s every day.

^what??? What high school do you go to? I find that unbelievably?

Haha, that reminds me. This past year, we had this “scandal” where some freshmen girl gave this one guy a BJ in the bathroom while his friend recorded it on his iPod. Smh.
