how bad would it look if i dropped an ap class after the midyear report is finished? would they revoke my admission (if i got in) if they saw that on the final transcript? i applied RD to stern and was wondering if i could do this. ap bio is driving me insane.

if u keep your other grades B or higher i can't see them caring

I'm sort of stuck in the same predicament. I had been signed up for AP Psychology Online class, but things didn't work out so I was forced to drop the class (not reallty my fault) and my counselor said that she would right a letter explaining why I had to drop the class. It was actually because there weren't many people signed up for the course.

You are required, ethically, to notify them. They admitted you based on your current schedule. Not an altered one.

oh gd damn...

So should I call the admissions office? I feel "guilty" even though it's not my fault I couldn't take the class.

unlike landshark, i think your case is different. in ur situation, u dunt have much choice because there is a problem that is outside ur boundary.

i think they understand that schedules are fairly fluid in the beginning of second semester. i wouldn't worry about it. if they ask, just tell them what happened.

calling doesn't hurt...if anyhthing it helps, i know people who started to do really bad 2nd semester, called them up and made up some ****-n-bull story, and still got it with no academic probation.

a kid in my ap spanish class that also got in ED just dropped out b/c nyu said it was fine

so just call
