How long does it take to walk across the campus? Just wondering...

the longest it’ll ever be is from the freshmen dorms to the engineering area. On the flip side, engineering is closest to collegetown were the majority of student move after freshmen year. I’d still say maybe 15-20 minutes at most? My walk was always disturbed by the $1.99 muffin and coffee specials that inevitably derailed me.

^Haha thanks. I guess thats not too bad (I was thinking it would be like crossing a small country, after looking at the campus map)

another distance question: how long does it take to get to NYC from there, by the buses that leave from the campus? Are these buses there everyday?

bus is like 4-6 hours? depending which one u take. shortline makes more stops…campus to campus is direct.

Cornell does have its own zip code ;)

if you want to live on campus after freshman year, you’ll probably try to live on West. the walk from West to the Ag quad (the quad the further from West) is a bit over 10 minutes. if I leave a full fifteen minutes for this walk I can be leisurely and still get there with a minute or two to spare.

when you look at the size of the campus, consider that most students don’t have class all the way out by the vet school. a lot of the area in the northwest corner is just greek housing, so you don’t necessarily need to go there often either.

4-5 hours on Shortline. Yes, everyday, and yes they leave from multiple places on campus (north, west, collegetown)
