I am a freshman in high school. I take all the honors classes possible. I am planning on dropping my last year of language and history for Discrete Math and AP Chem. I will be taking precalc over the summer of my freshman year, AP stats over the next summer, and a University run program the following year. I am involved in many clubs such as Science Olympiad, Robotics, FBLA (future business leaders of america), and chess club. How many volunteer hours does MIT look for? How can I improve my chances of getting into MIT? What classes should I take? My unweighted gpa is around 3.9 or 4. Thanks in advance!

Take a chill pill, do what you love, don’t do stuff just to get into ONE college.

Allow me to add Stanford University, Cal Tech, and Berkeley University to my “aiming” list
