How Can I Improve My Chances?

<p>I'm a junior in high school and Stanford is my top choice university. I know that it is a very hard school to get into, but I want your opinions on how I can increase my chances on getting in, and where I seem to be good.</p>

<p>Scores:
Act Composite- 33 (E: 35, M: 30, RC: 36, S: 32, E/W: 32)
GPA - 89.7777, which I believe is like between a 3.4 and 3.6; I've been looking on the internet to no avail
Biology SAT- 690 when taken freshman year. I plan to retake after AP Biology this year
Chemistry SAT - waiting for scores
APs - will take Bio, Spanish, Calc AB, Psych, and one other</p>

<p>Arts Extracurriculars:
Lead Clarinetist in Wind Ensemble
Lead Clarinetist in Chamber Orchestra
Lead Baritone Saxophonist in Jazz Band
Played the part of a witch in Macbeth sophomore year
Played miscellaneous roles in Sunday Night freshman year
Has won Level 4 (out of 6) at Solofestival on Clarinet</p>

<p>Academic Extracurriculars:
Model United Nations- has won multiple Best Delegate (1st place) awards, several Honorable mentions (3rd)
Chemathon Team - won Crystal Growing competition (my portion) and overall team won 1st</p>

<p>Athletic Extracurriculars:
Equestrian Show Jumper</p>

<p>Leadership:
Attended Student Diversity Leadership Conference (chosen)
Vice President of Environmental Awareness Club
Founded/Started/Runs a legitimate business
Peer-tutoring</p>

<p>Volunteerwork:
40+ and counting hours of hospital work</p>

<p>Other:
Attended Stanford's Education Program for Gifted Youth freshman year
Will be working at a science internship this coming summer</p>

<p>Thoughts? Be blunt and honest, please. How can I improve my GPA in one year?!</p>
