I'm not too sure how to bring up CR-all you can do is attack the passages and differentiate between wrong and right answer choices, in the simplest sense.

Writing is in my opinion, the easiest section on the SAT and the easiest to improve. Strong essay writing is developed over time, but the multiple choice can be mastered quite easily if you read about the grammar rules they test and how to recognize them. You could read up on modifiers, subject verb agreement, verb tense, pronoun use, and other basic grammar principles tested to nail those questions each time they come out. If you have time, check out some idioms.

o crap, ur scores r exactly like mines. except my math is 790...yea, same question, is there a book or something that teaches you correct english grammar and stuff?

CR's been the most difficult for me on the SAT's. Nontheless, you will potentially improve if you just read and do SAT practice books religiously..

Writing and math are the quickest parts to improve.. CR is hard b/c it takes such a long time to devour each individual excerpts.

Read classic English literature! No lie, it will help you learn proper grammar without having to use a boring workbook, and it will increase your vocabulary through context, rather than having to study lists of definitions. It's so much easier to do the writing MC questions when you can get a feel for what sounds right, instead of trying to run through formal grammatical rules under a timed setting.

It's not like your scores are bad, especially for someone who is ESL.
