<p>I'll be a sophomore next year, just tryin to figure out how I'll be able to do this. I know it's some kind of priority thing they do, I mean I could easily join Illini Pride and be a part of the Orange Krush, but I know they do charity and not sure how much money I gotta fork over for that.</p>
<p>well O.K. is basically, i believe, you fork over $250. i know its fairly high. you don't have to do a charity drive or something, you can just pay the money and they'll send it to the charity and you're in O.K.
i guess it depends on how much season tickets are, probalby aren't cheap.</p>
<p>It just ****es me off b/c I've been a devoted Illini basketball fan for 7 years now and you easily can get Illini football tickets, and they'll sell u individual tickets on the Quad, yet come basketball season, no tickets around. I know it's cause football team has sucked, but I personally think it's a BS system. </p>
<p>They put more priority on the alumni than the current students and it just annoys me b/c I'm a much bigger Illini basketball fan than I am an Illini football fan.</p>
<p>Theres also 40,000+ football seats and only like 13,000 basketball tickets, so naturally there will be more demand for basketball. Isnt there a deal where if you buy football season tickets you get basketball tickets? or does that just increase your chances a little in the lottery?</p>
