How can you even write an essay for Richmond's new prompt?

From small, faculty-led classes to funded undergraduate research, the University of Richmond offers the benefits of both a liberal arts college and the opportunities and resources typically found in large research universities. Tell us how you would utilize these resources in order to reach your goals.

The blog post on Richmond's website says to write this essay to express yourself, not to talk about the university in anyway but to talk about your interests.

Where in that prompt is there any logical place to talk about interests? I can only see where you can talk about the school.

What are your goals? Will having small classes with many one-on-one opportunities with professors and students help you achieve those goals? How will a Liberal Arts environment help you reach your goals? Will many research opportunities help you reach your goals? Will research opportunities early in your college career benefit you? How will your goals be better realized in a small school over a large state school?
