I just took the June ACT and to my dismay I found that although the rest of my scores were moderate (32 E, 36 M, 29 S), I scored a 23 on reading....

So over the summer I decided that I will work on increasing the reading score to at least a 30.
But I have no clear idea, except reading lots of books (as I rarely read any books...).

Please share any tips and strategies if you've been in a similar situation as I.
Also if you know of any classic novels that are good to read and will boost my vocabulary (I would say my vocabulary is equivalent to a rising freshman in high school.. while I'm a rising senior..), etc... please let me know.

One other thing... what should I do if I've exhausted all my testing materials. I mean I've taken all the ACT Tests available (PR, PR 1296, Red Book, Barron's 36), so should I retake the tests (which I've already done for the reading section..), or take the more inaccurate practice tests (McGrawhill and Barrons).
